MARCO DE IESO
Visual artist - Director
He is a visual artist and photographer whose research investigates the silent presence of the human gesture across space and time. His aesthetic is contemplative and immersive, conceived as a form of resistance to the culture of consumption, perceptual standardization, and the frantic pace of production that tends to erase depth. Alongside his artistic practice, Marco works in the field of contemporary art as an Art Director and Visual Designer, collaborating with institutions, museums, artists, and publishers. He focuses on graphic design, visual and editorial identities, with a conceptual approach aligned with his vision — attentive to form, material, and the narrative power of design. He also curates exhibitions and cultural events as living acts of connection between art and territory, working with artists who share a sensitivity for site-specific practices and for performance as a rooted, embodied language. In this context, experimental sound, performance, and theatrical staging become body, ritual, and speech — generating a fertile dialogue between space, community, and memory.
